Phenylethyl resorcinol (PR) is a potent tyrosinase inhibitor and cosmeceutical skin lightening agent. However, the application of PR limited by photoinstability poor solubility. In this study, we formulated optimized phenylethyl loaded nanoliposomes (PR-NLPs) to improve stability effective delivery PR. PR-NLPs were prepared ethanol injection method single factor experimental Box–Behnken design. addition, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (DHHB) as UBA absorber was added PR-NLPs, which significantly improved photostability The mean size, polydispersity index (PDI), zeta potential 130.1 ± 3.54 nm, 0.225 0.02, ?43.9 3.44 mV, respectively. drug encapsulation efficiency (EE) loading (LC) 96.81 3.46% 8.82 0.6%, These showed good physicochemical for 3 months at 4 °C 25 in dark.
